Part of our team since 2015, Sabine plays a key leadership role in Magpie Projects and in shaping our Risk Practice. She advises banks and financial institutions on risk governance, regulatory implementation and supervisory reporting, with a focus on delivering end-to-end transformation across front office, risk and finance functions. As a trusted lead for critical engagements, she combines technical depth, Business and regulatory expertise and strong coordination skills across functions and systems.

Sabine has led major transformation programmes at national and international institutions – from designing pricing and risk models as well as risk report frameworks to implementing new regulatory requirements, new risk strategies, risk types and products. She is also a committed people leader and plays a central role in mentoring our next generation of consultants and managing high-performing teams in complex stakeholder environments.

Before joining our team, Sabine spent several years in consulting roles at KPMG and PwC focused on risk management. She holds a degree in Business Mathematics from the University of Bayreuth and brings more than 15 years of experience in financial services. Sabine regularly contributes to internal and external thought leadership, especially on evolving regulatory expectations in risk management.
